The Haitian American Nurses Association of Florida sent two delegation members (Drs. Amina Dubuisson, DNP, MBA/HCM, RN, LNHA, CDP, Past President of HANA of Florida, Treasurer of HANA International & Dr. Odiane H. Medacier, PhD, APRN, FNP-C, Co-Chair of International Affairs Committee of HANA of Florida) to Haiti in partnership with Shalom Broward Community Church, Dr. Fayola Delica representing the Haitian American Faith Based Network (HAFBN) along with Dr. Flore Lindor Latortue, President of AEDAP who are conducting the needs assessment in some of areas affected by the earthquake in Haiti. The Delegation members are meeting with key Stakeholders on the ground, and distributing necessary supplies, and donations to the Survivors who were impacted by the 7.2 Magnitude Earthquake that struck Haiti on August 14, 2021.
